Ann
Harris looks
over the administration section of the practice on a
day-to-day basis. She performs admirably in screening
appropriate patients for the clinic on a continuing basis.
She is excellent at accurate coding, billing, and in helping
patients recover the maximum reimbursement from the
insurance structures. Liaison work with insurance issues as
well as attorney matters related to complex litigation is
also a forté.
Maria Lopez, REEGT, RN,
has a host of skills acquired over many years. She is
board-certified as an EEG and evoked potentials
technologist. She captures the brain and nerve electrical
information needed to diagnose brain disorders. Ms Lopez
then went on to get a degree in nursing and has worked with
children, in the ER and the ICU settings. In the future, we
hope to see her continue studies, hopefully in some clinical
field.
Virginia
Scott works in administration,
clinical research and marketing in many capacities with the
Anodyne practice. She keeps tracks of outside talks,
conferences and many business aspects of the clinic
activities. She also directs and participates in marketing
for the practice and in helping take Anodyne Headache and
PainCare to new directions in terms of providing services.
In particular, she has been active in setting up IV therapy
protocols using telemedicine techniques so that Anodyne
Headache and PainCare can guide other clinicians when they
treat pain and headache problems in remote locations.
